cast-bronze-church-bells at Friendship Missionary Church

Dear Stan, Jerry, Phillipe and the rest of the Christoph Paccard team,

I want to let you know how much we are enjoying the sound of our Paccard bells at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. People comment on the bells most every day!

As you know, our church spoke to three different foundries. Paccard stood heads and shoulders above the others in customer service, quality, and most importantly musicality and tone. Having played carillons all over the US and in Europe, I have always had the most musical satisfaction on a Paccard instrument. The warm, rich tone of a Paccard bell gives itself away by the sweetness of sound. When I have to play other bells, or listen to them, I am never satisfied – other companies’ bells are marked by a thin, “tinny” sound, which I know is due in part to the shape of the bell, but also the tuning.

When I attended the casting of our 11,000 pound Bourdon bell, I had the opportunity to hear the rest of our bells pre-tuning. They were amazing at that point, but the fine-tuning that the Paccard craftsmen did just put our bells over the top. Every Sunday morning, following our services, I ring the peal of bells and people always comment that it sounds like church when the bells ring. Brides constantly ask if the bells will ring following a wedding because they want that joyful cathedral bell sound as they leave the sanctuary.

I would recommend, the Paccard Foundry and Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry to any church that wants a single bell, a peal or a complete carillon. No other foundry can produce an instrument of the same high quality and provide customer service on an equal level.

Thanks for all you have done to enrich the worship life of my congregation! I look forward to working with you all again in the future.”
