cast bronze bells, class bells
About This Project
Stan Christoph, President of Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry, with the Senior Class representatives of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, North Carolina as they receive their bell mounted on a mobile wrought iron bell frame.
The cast bronze bell is used for the opening of the school year, for special occasions, sports games, and commencement. The bell was chosen as their class gift to the school and has become a symbol of Cardinal Gibbons.
The cast bronze bell was created with the school logo and inscriptions cast permanently in relief using the lost wax process.
The class bell is rung with a handcrafted woven bell rope attached to the clapper.
