About This Project

Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry completed the design and installation of the clock faces for the Lovettsville Square Clock Tower located in Lovettsville, Virginia. Installed in late November 2016, the clock faces are part of a larger glockenspiel project to recognize the town’s German heritage.

The four clock faces were unveiled during the town’s Wintertainmentfest on December 2, 2016, along with the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree.

Future plans include the installation of an animated cuckoo bird and figurines that rotate as music is played.

A variety of fundraising options will include corporate sponsorships, merchandise sales and community events.

For further information on funding opportunities, contact Buck Smith at bsmith@lovettesvilleva.org.
