Tower Clock Restoration Project
Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry has completed the Town of Tryon tower clock restoration and provides annual clock service to ensure proper working order for the town centerpiece.
The clock tower, located near the center of town at 85 North Tryon Street, was originally constructed in 2005 as a joint project by the Rotary Club of Tryon, North Carolina and The Thermal belt Rotary Club to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Rotary International.
Sitting atop of the clock tower, a handcrafted copper and bronze replica of the town’s symbol, Morris the Horse overlooks the popular shopping and dining district. A surrounding park provides shade and green vistas for the frequent visitors and serves as the site for the annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop of Tryon.
